Common Reasons for Replacement
Confirmed electronic failure: A persistent solid red station light can indicate a faulty circuit board, although the power supply must also be checked.
Loop-signal fault traced to the board: On boundary-wire installations, replacement may be required when “No loop signal” persists after the wires, connections and power supply have been tested.
Storm damage: Lightning or heavy rain can damage charging station electronics. Replace the board if inspection confirms it has been affected.
These symptoms do not confirm a circuit board fault on their own. Diagnosis before replacement helps avoid purchasing an unnecessary part.
