Frequently asked questions

Why choose EZPZ Mowing?

Robot mowers are our specialty. It’s all we do, so we know how to get them working properly and keep them that way. EZPZ Mowing provides sales, professional installation, setup, training, servicing and repairs. Our fully equipped mobile service van provides on site support across South East Queensland. We’re Husqvarna Gold Service certified, use genuine parts, offer ongoing maintenance plans, up to a 5 year warranty with a Care Plan, and a 60-day money-back guarantee when you choose an Aftercare Package and professional installation.

What size robot mower do I need?

It depends on more than just lawn size. We consider slopes, tree cover, lawn complexity, grass type and how much mowing time is available each day to make sure the mower has enough capacity for your property. Contact us and we’ll help you find the right model.

Will a robot mower work under trees and around buildings?

Usually, yes. With GPS, vision-assisted navigation, Support by Wire and other options available, there’s a solution for the vast majority of properties, even those with heavy tree cover or buildings nearby. On heavily treed blocks, particularly around gum trees, the main consideration is keeping larger fallen sticks and branches off the lawn.

Can one robot mower handle multiple lawn areas, driveways and gates?

Yes, in many cases. Separate mowing areas can be linked using transport paths, allowing the mower to travel across suitable driveways and paths. Gates, steep transitions and disconnected lawns need to be assessed individually.

Can robot mowers handle steep slopes and rough ground?

Yes. Different models handle different terrain, with some AWD Automowers capable of slopes up to 70% (35°). They’re designed to maintain a lawn, not slash paddocks or overgrown grass, so very rough ground, holes, exposed roots or long unmanaged grass may need some preparation first.

How much maintenance do robot mowers need?

Very little compared with a ride-on mower. Regular maintenance is mainly blade replacement, cleaning and an annual service. Annual servicing is recommended and is required to maintain Husqvarna’s extended warranty. Customers with an EZPZ Aftercare Package can have their mower serviced on site at their property.

How much does an acreage robot mower cost?

Acreage Automowers generally start from around $5,999, with larger high-capacity models costing more. Installation varies depending on the property, so we assess your lawn and recommend the right mower and setup before you commit.

What happens if a robot mower isn't right for my property?

We’re a robot mower specialist, not just a retail shop trying to sell you a box. We’ll assess your property properly and be upfront if we don’t think a robot mower will work well for you.

And if you choose an Aftercare Package and professional installation, our 60-day money-back guarantee gives you extra peace of mind.

How much does professional robot mower installation cost?

Most standard residential installations are under $1,000. The final cost depends on the size and complexity of your property, the mower selected and the navigation system required.

We can assess your lawn first and provide a clear recommendation and installation price before you commit. Professional setup also means your mower is mapped, configured and tested properly from day one.

What warranty and support do I get?

Eligible Husqvarna Automowers can receive up to a 5-year / 6,000-hour manufacturer warranty when servicing requirements are met.

Unlike a typical retail or online store, EZPZ Mowing provides local, mobile support across South East Queensland. We handle installation, training, servicing and repairs, with on-site support from our fully equipped service van.

Customers who purchase an Aftercare Package and have their mower professionally installed also receive on-site servicing and our 60-day money-back guarantee.
